Greeley, CO – Expedition Water Solutions Colorado LLC (“Expedition”) today announced the acquisition of several Class I disposal wells in Wyoming from Black Bison Water Services LLC. The assets include two Class I oilfield wastewater disposal well facilities and one Class I well permit in the Powder River Basin (“PRB”), as well as one Class I oilfield wastewater disposal well facility in the Denver-Julesburg Basin (“DJ Basin”). In the PRB, Expedition will have 10,000 Bbls/d of immediate capacity and another 10,000 Bbls/d of estimated permitted capacity, for a total existing and estimated permitted capacity of 20,000 Bbls/d.
In the DJ Basin, Expedition will add approximately 2,500 Bbls/d of permitted capacity to its existing 60,000 Bbls/d permitted capacity, bringing total pro forma DJ Basin permitted capacity to 62,500 Bbls/d. “We are excited to expand our footprint into the Powder River Basin.
